⭐Is Yachtsman Steakhouse the best in Disneyworld?⭐

We are big steak lovers in our home and Disney has some real fine steakhouses. Now for us a good Steakhouse focuses mainly in steak, maybe a seafood option and that’s it. A small menus with fine food is always more impressive than a wide ranging menu with steak. That’s not a steakhouse to us. For our money there are TWO distinct steakhouses in Disney World. If we want streak we go to one of these and no other. They are the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort and Le Cellier Steakhouse at the Canada Pavillion in Epcot. Here we are going to be reviewing Yachtsman.

We ate their last summer having somehow never getting around to it. It is a slight treck if you aren’t staying there. We reccomend a day at Epcot or Hollywood and getting the boat over otherwise you would need to travel to a different park and pick up a resort bus.

The decor is very formal and classy. Smart dress is welcomed although they are ready for families and kids coming from the parks.

It is a 2 point dining plan meal, but you get so much for your money.

For starters I chose the French Onion Soup. Always a hit in Disney with Croutons, Gruyere Cheese and onion broth. I could eat a giant bowl of this alone.

We got the 28oz Prime Porterhouse for 2 (med rare). It’s always really special when you can share a main like this with your partner. You then get to choose who gets the what cut (the tenderloin fillet or the NY Strip) unless you want it split. The entire cut is tender and juicy and full of flavour. It is accompanied by Green Onion Brioche, Garlic Butter and two sides. We chose the house made truffle fries and the truffle Mac & Cheese (because we can’t ever turn down a Mac & Cheese). As if all this wasn’t enough the last addition was something unique to this steakhouse only in Disney World. The Bone Marrow. You’ll be served a bone cut in half with the gooiest, meatiest, fattiest thing you will ever eat. AND it’s supposed to be real good for you too. This was a mountain of food (we said you get your money’s worth) and we ate it all. The meal was phenominal and we barely had room for dessert.

I seem to remember getting this to go as it was on our dining plan and we didn’t want to waste it. We got the gorgeous Bannana bread pudding with the caramelized bananas, pecans, and Caramel-rum sauce. And epic end to an epic night.

So while we believe that the quality of food and offerings paired with the beautiful decor and service makes this the go to Steakhouse in Disney. Le Cellier however is a close second, but the Bone Marrow literally pulls this infront.
