☆Disney World’s Hidden Water Paradises☆

☆Disney World’s Hidden Water Paradises☆

Everybody loves the water parks at WDW. Even the many, many feature pools at the resorts. We have done most of them. However for our money the hidden gems are the small pools!

Not every resort has them, some may have jist one big feature pool where as some have 3 or 3 pools. We take this into account when booking a resort to stay at and it’s something you may want to consider. Here are the factors why we like to look into small pools.

Often small pools are located away from the hub of a resort. This creates less traffic, and more room to play. Also you may want to choose a room based on pool location. One of our favourite things is to take a dip in the morning before a park day or jump in late at night after a shopping trip at Disney Springs.

Many small pools will come with their own bar/quick service location so you can eat while there without heading to the main food location or the parks. They often have facilities so you can fill your refillable mug also.

So let’s take a look at where in all of Disney World you will find these wonderful places. Here we won’t look at resorts that have a single pool (as everybody will head there) but small/leasure pools at resorts with 2 or more.

Disney World resorts have plenty of pools to offer. Resorts that have a larger layout will often have a pool for each area and these are the best and quietest as only those who stay in that section will know about them or visit them.

Our two personal favourite pools have been the Oasis at Polynesian Resorts  and Old Turtle Road pool at Old Key West. (great food at both too)
