☆Celebrating 20 years of Pooh’s Hunny Hunt☆

If you go to any Disney Resort around the world you’ll be met with The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride. A fun indoor bouncing track ride through some of Pooh’s most famous stories featured in the movie of the same name. This is EXCEPT Tokyo Disneyland. Well known for doing things differently they have a different Pooh ride. And arguably the best of them all…and it’s 20 years old this month! (Aug 2020)

Pooh’s Hunny Hunt follows many aspects from the other rides such as storyline with Windy Day and the Heffalumps and Woozles scenes. However where this ride is different is the ride system it’self. The ride is fully trackless. The system uses a ton of sensors which navigate the honey pot ride vehicle around the ride. It is fitted with a system that can switch direction at random for each vehicle. Due to this random nature it is highly unlikely you will ever ride the same route twice!

While this is a Pooh ride through and through it feels alot more free flowing like the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. And this all makes the ride totally unique. It remains 20 years later one of the most popular rides at the resort and often features the longest lines.

We love the original Pooh rides haven ridden them for years. But Tokyo Disney’s ability to add innovation and keep the core of a classic ride intact is remarkable.
