10 Reasons Why You Should Stay At Coronado Springs

☆10 Reasons Why You Should Stay At Coronado Springs☆

Coronado Springs is a moderate resort in the Animal Kingdom area. It’s a beautiful resort and definitley on the upper scale of moderates. Its has an awful lot going for it. Let’s take a look at just some of the reasons we would book to stay here.

☆Pools
We adore the “Dig Site” this giant feature pool sits beneath a 50ft pyramid with waterfall that is switched on each day…top tip kids can be a part of this daily ceremony! It all features a huge hot tub for 20 plus people. There are also 3 smaller, quieter pools in the complex so lots of variety.

☆Grand Destino Tower
This beautiful newish addition includes over 500 new rooms and suites with amazing views, there is even a gorgeous restaurant up top.

☆Toledo Restaurant
Head to the top if the tower for great views will enjoying a mix of Spanish small plates, seafood and steaks. Our favourite is the slightly pricey meal for two…but so worth it. ($130) You get a 4 part starter of marinated Mussels, poached olive Tuna, Potato Omlette and Blue cheese with honey. You will then make your way through a 28oz bone in Rib Eye with sides. Tender and full of flavour. Save room for the Charcuterie and cheese before a dessert of Coffee, crunchy chocolate, Rasberry mousse and lemon curd. It’s a delight from start to finish.

☆Rooms
Here you’ll find spacious rooms and suites. There are options of a preferred room where you’ll see the lake, courtyard or car park. Enquire for a water view for the pools and lake. Always request your room type at check in or room requirements and if they can facilitate they will. The preferred rooms are closest to the main Lobby, dining and transport.

☆Recreation
Here toy can hire take advantage of the beach volleyball or maybe an evening campfire. Our favourite every time is the movies under the stars near the main pool. Kids will love the Explorer playground with sandbox, water slide, swings and more. Or the indoor arcade filled with a range if games. For those who like to keep fit, take advantage of the running trails around resort or giant health club and fitness center. And scrub up nicely at the beauty salon next to the health centre.

☆Maya Grill
Enjoy a fusion of American and Mexican food with plenty of seafood and steak to suit all pallets. Meat lovers will love the Hand Cut 2rox Rib Eye with Gratin potatoes, esquites and vegetables sith butter. For seafood you can’t beat the Parillada del Mar for 2. Grilled shrimp, Seasonal fish and scallops with fresh veggies and esquites, seriously we could eat this solo. For Mexican tastes you should get the beer battered shrimp or Chipotle black bean Tacos. We loved the desert shots, especially our old favourite the Key lime pie! Mud pie, berries n cream and more available. The decor is grand and vibarant with swift friendly service.

☆More food! 2 bar and grills, a lounge, cafe and pool bars ensure you will never be short of food or drink…no reservation necessary.

☆Amenities
At the centre of everything you will find the two story lobby, shop, transportation, food and so much more. You’ll also see the beautiful lake with bridges connecting it all. The three bridges bar and grill is the center piece here.

☆Quick service
At the El Mercado de Coronado you’ll find a range of rice bowls, nachos, burgers, pizza, sandwiches and more. Seriously there is so much to grab here as well as a vast breakfast selection.

☆Deluxe resort for moderate prices.
We truly believe this resort, especially with all its renovations, restaurants pools and more ot is bordering a deluxe resort. But at a much lesser cost. Certainly consider it once the NBA moves out!
