Disney World Monorail vs Skyliner

☆Disney World Monorail vs Skyliner☆

For years the most sought after resorts to stay at are those where a bus journey can be avoided. We adore all things Disney but lining up for a bus early or late at night is no fun! Especially if the air con is down (yes we’ve been there) Boats operate from some resorts which are fun. But there is no experience like taking the Monorail and now Skyliner. They essentially feel like a fun ride in themselves, and come with great views too.

But… which is your favourite. Let’s help you with a comparison and our pick

☆Style – Skyliner
Skyliner wins here, sure the Monorails sometimes have a wrap to promote a movie. But the character designs on each skyliner pod are super cute!

☆Stops –  Skyliner
Skyliner services 2 parks and 4 resorts where as the Monorail services 2 parks and 3 resorts plus the transportation and ticket center. So Skyliner wins here too.

☆Space- Skyliner
Your party will usually get a pod to yourself unless small and you may share. Where is they tend to fill the Monorail like sardines.

☆Nostalgia- Monorail
With age comes a ton of memories. So no arguments here.

So where does our loyalty lie. Sorry but while the Skyliner is more practical and visually appealing. We’ve spent our life riding that monorail and so that’s what we back.
