Disney and Pixar announced today via Twitter their next movie, after Soul.

Luca (released summer 2021) will be a story about a boy who spends his summer in the Italian Riviera.

It will be directed by Enrico Casarosa (Directed the Disney short La Luna) and produced by Andrea Warren (Co Produced Cars 3). Hopefully we’ll get more news and even a trailer later this year.

Seems very interesting Pixar announce a film based on the Italian Riviera a year after Disney opened the Riviera resort in Disney World. Nice way to get people to the resort. I’m sure the film will do the beauty of this location justice.
